Dr Rex Haigh is a Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy . He has been Chair of the Association of Therapeutic Communities, founder of the Community of Communities quality network at the Royal College of Psychiatrists Research Unit, and member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Therapeutic Communities.
His professional expertise is psychiatry and group psychotherapy. He has worked with the Department of Health as Clinical Advisor for the National Personality Disorder Programme, and is Honorary Professor of Therapeutic Communities and Relational Health in Nottingham University’s School of Sociology and Social Policy and the Institute of Mental Health.
Rex is internationally known for his work with complex mental health difficulties and organisational dynamics.
